 Drama Area Children will have the opportunity to role play in the Dramatic Play center. They can dress up and use the pretend food to play house or family. They can also enjoy laughing at the various outfits.  Arts/Crafts Art cent will be open each day.  The children will also be allowed to paint throughout the week, using their minds to be creative. Art ideas include science, nature, animals, sports, and family. The two art activities focus on the theme of weather.
 Blocks/Construction Children can build and work together while in the blocks/construction center. They can create buildings, roadways, or other constructions. The children can construct buildings and then destroy them as if a tornado (bad weather) has hit. Music/Movement Children will have the opportunity to listen to music in the gym. they may dance or sing.  Interaction with the music will be encouraged.
 Outdoors Sports and recreation will be emphasized outside. The children will have the opportunity to exercise while having fun. They may also explore during their scavenger hunt. Board/Table Games  Several board/table games are at the children's disposal. The children have access to the games daily and may play alone or with other children.  Interaction will be encouraged to improve social skills.
 Cooking Cooking will emphasize the theme of weather this week. The children will create a sun from cookies, yellow icing, and pretzels. they will then be able to eat their suns.  Reminders  Please remember to call in to report your child's absence from Kids and Company.
 Science/Nature Weather will be emphasized this week in relation to science. As a project, the children will create a weather dial. Throughout the week, different types of weather and their effects will be discussed.   Parent Involvement :    

Please remember to be enforcing positive behavior at home. We also encourage homework; if your child has homework, we will help them with it.

  

 Quiet Area Children will have the opportunity to relax and enjoy themselves in quiet area. Reading books will be encouraged during this time.
